YUKIKO NORITAKE Exhibition

パリを拠点に活躍するアーティスト YUKIKO NORITAKE。
パレットいっぱいに絵の具を絞り出し、一日中色彩の世界にのめり込み製作を続ける彼女。
普段からパリの街並みやバカンス先の景色など、日常に出会うワンシーンを切り取り描くことが多い彼女ですが、今回の展示では生命力溢れる美しい植物の世界を色鮮やかに描きます。

パリの公園、花屋、フランスの田舎で出会う庭や植物園に刺激を受け、独自の色彩感覚で構成された花のモチーフを制作するYukiko Noritake。
植物を生けるとき、花園を歩くとき、私たちの心は幸せと豊かさで満たされます。
そして色とりどりの花びら、葉、茎に蕾...自然が織りなす造形の美しさ。
私たちは自然界の素晴らしさに驚かされてばかりです。

彼女はその美しい世界を観察し、自然界が創り出す美に魅了されるうちに、思う存分花々の世界を描こうと思うのです。
軽やかでどこか儚い芍薬、蝶のように妖艶なイリス、洗いざらしの柔らかいコットンを思わせるポピーに、愛らしく生い茂る野花たち。
花々を組み合わせブーケに仕立て描いたり、想像の世界を組み合わせグラフィカルに仕上げたり。
個性豊かな植物が纏う雰囲気を、色を使い分けて表現していくことに喜びを感じる彼女。
一枚の紙の中に独自の世界観を作り込む姿は、フローリストが花束を、ペイザジストが庭園をデザインするのと共通しているのかもしれません。
肉眼で見る本物の植物とはまた異なる、Yukiko Noritakeのフィルターを介してでしか見る事のできない花々と色彩の世界がそこにあります。

展示のタイトルPromesse du printemps（プロメス　ドゥ　プランタン）は、フランス語で « 春の約束 »。

新しい年のはじまりに、“春の訪れを約束する花々の世界“ どうぞお楽しみください。

〈Yukiko Noritake〉

1989年愛知県生まれ。
フランス、パリ近郊を拠点に活動するアーティスト・イラストレーター。
大学でフランス語・文化を学んだのち、2015年に渡仏。
パリの美術総合専門学校 Ecole de Condéでイラストレーション、ビジュアルコミュニケーションを学ぶ。
同校を2018年に卒業。
翌年2019年には卒業制作として手がけた絵本のプロジェクトを仏Actes Sudより出版。これまでにフランスで8冊、日本で2冊の絵本を出版。
ELLE, Madame Figaro, L’Occitan, Airbnb, UNICEF, Orangina Japanなど、様々なクライアントとのプロジェクトも手掛けている。

YUKIKO NORITAKE Exhibition

YUKIKO NORITAKE is an artist based in Paris. Squeezing paints on a palette and deeply sinking in her world of colors, she create and develop her art all day.
The subjects chose for her usual paintings often come from her daily life in Paris or beautiful landscapes captured during her vacation. However for this occasion, she passionately paint the botanical world full of energy.

deeply inspired by parisian parc, flower shop or country side’s garden, Yukiko Noritake started to create floral patterns composed of unique palette of colors.
When we arrange flowers or simply walking in floral gardens, our heart is filled with richness and happiness. Natural formative art made by colorful petals, leaves, stems and buds surprise us each time.

After many time observing its beauty, the artist started to imagine the creation of big floral series.
Airy and ephemeral Peony, voluptuous Iris, Poppy like washed out cotton and overgrown wild flowers.. They are painted as a bouquet but also as a graphic visual mixed with abstract motifs.
Yukiko enjoy playing with colors to express atmosphere that each flower owns. Her way of creation may have a common spirit of florist or landscape artist who design their bouquet or garden.
Through the eyes of Yukiko Noritake, there is a world of flowers that is totally different from real nature.

“Promesse du printemps” means promise of spring in French.

Enjoy this world of flowers announcing the visit of spring.

〈Yukiko Noritake〉

Born in Aichi, Japan in 1989, Yukiko Noritake is an artist and illustrator based in Paris.
After having studied French language and culture at the University in Japan, she moved to France in 2015 to study illustration and visual communication at Ecole de Conde Paris.
One year after her graduation in 2018, she instantly published her first book, which was her project at school, by french publisher Actes Sud.
Out of the picture book making, she also collaborates with client such as Elle, Madame Figaro, Figaro, L’Occitan, Airbnb, UNICEF, Orangina Japan.
