夢を見るような穏やかで美しい状態を象徴する言葉。
Rêverieと聞くと、作曲家 ドビュッシーのピアノ曲「夢想」を思い浮かべる方も多いかもしれません。
聴き手の心に自然に浮かびあがる情景や感情を大切にして作曲されたピアノ曲と同様に、Yukiko Noritakeの描く世界も観る人々の心に穏やかで美しい世界を届けます。
静かな瞬間や自然の美しさを切り取り、現実の世界の中に空想を膨らませ、色を加え、彼女にとってのユートピアを描いていきます。
アトリエの窓の外ではフランスのグレーな喧噪が広がる一方、彼女の頭の中は現実に居ながらも、どこか夢の世界にふわりと浮かんでいるような。
そして色鮮やかな物語は尽きることはありません。
見慣れたパリの景色、花々やインテリアなどにも、彼女のフィルターがかかります。
そして現実にはない形や色が彼女の空想の世界へと橋を架けていくのです。

<Yukiko Noritake>
・1989年愛知県生まれ。
・大学でフランス語・文化を学んだ後、2015年に渡仏。
・パリの美術総合専門学校 École de Condé へ入学後、イラストレーション、ビジュアルコミュニケーションを学び、2018年に卒業。
・2019年、絵本を仏 Actes Sud 社から出版。フランスでは8冊、日本では2冊の絵本を出版。
・ELLE, Madame Figaro, L'occitan, Airbnb, UNICEF, Orangina Japanなど、様々なクライアントとのプロジェクトを手掛け、キャリアをスタートさせる。
・近年では、ハイジュエリーメゾン Piaget とのキャンペーン、フランスを代表する高級パティスリー Pierre Hermé のマカロンコフレ、さらには Louis Vuitton が出版する2024年版Parisのシティーガイドブックのカバーなど、様々なブランドとのコラボレーションを通じて世界に発信されている。

Rêverie
A word symbolizing a calm and beautiful state, as if dreaming.
When one hears "Rêverie," many may think of the piano piece "Reverie" by the composer Debussy.
Just like the piano composition, which cherishes the imagery and emotions that naturally arise in the listener's mind, the world depicted by Yukiko Noritake also brings a serene and beautiful realm to the hearts of those who view it.
She captures quiet moments and the beauty of nature, expanding her imagination within the real world, adding colors, and drawing her vision of utopia.
Outside the window of her studio spreads the gray hustle and bustle of France, yet inside her mind, she gently floats somewhere in a dreamlike world.
And the vivid stories she creates never run out.
Even familiar Parisian scenery, flowers, and interiors are seen through her unique filter.
Shapes and colors that do not exist in reality form bridges into her imaginary world.

A serene and beautiful world, as if dreaming.

<Yukiko Noritake Profile>
Born in 1989 in Aichi, Japan, Yukiko Noritake is an artist and illustrator based in Paris. After graduating from the illustration program at École de Condé Paris, she published her first book with the French publisher Actes Sud, marking the start of her career as an illustrator.
Her work spans a variety of projects, including winter campaigns for Piaget, macaron boxes for Pierre Hermé, cover illustrations for the Louis Vuitton City Guide: Paris, and more.
