南フランス緑釉水切り皿｜France 19世紀

持ちやすいハンドル付きの水切り用の器。
土の温もりが優しく、表情豊かなこちらは南フランスのもの。

南仏の農家や家庭に根ざして作られた、素朴で実用的な生活道具は、日常的に使われていたため、良い状態で出逢うことは少なく、今では希少な古道具です。

季節の果物や蒸し野菜などを盛り付けて食卓へサーブしたり、洗った野菜を置いておく器としても使いやすい大きめのサイズ感。
また、暑い季節には素麺やお蕎麦を盛り付けたり、寒い季節には鍋料理の具材皿としてもおすすめです。

Condition

古い時代の欠けや釉薬の剥がれ、擦れが見られます。欠けの部分は触れると滑らかで手触りも良く、器の景色のひとつとしてお愉しみ頂けるものだと思います。

細かなキズや製造時に生じた跡などは、この時代の器に一般的に見られるものです。長い年月を経てきた自然な風合いとしてお楽しみいただける、良い状態の個体です。
