2つの異なる生地を縫い合わせた南フランスのアンティークキルト

赤を基調とした生地に華やかなローズがとても目を惹きます。
もう片面は、チョコレート色のようなブラウンのストライプに小さな四角いドット柄。

玄関やベッドサイドの敷き物としてなどインテリアのアクセントにぜひ。

<フランス更紗>
ヨーロッパでの更紗の製造は、インドの更紗の影響を受けたことからはじまりました。
フランスでは、17世紀中頃マルセイユに初めて木版捺染の会社が設立。
最初はインド更紗の模倣からはじまり、次第に植物や田園風景をモチーフとしたフランスらしさを持つ独自の更紗模様を生み出してゆきます。

サイズ; 96 × 71cm ほど

コンディション; 経年による布の擦れなどは見られますが、生地の発色も良く表裏共にとても良い状態です。ブラウンの面に所々に色褪せが見られます。年代を考慮してもとても良いコンディションです。
経年による生地の痛みや擦れなどはどのキルトにも必ず見られます。
古い品の為、ご案内の他にも小さな痛みや汚れ、お直し跡などはあるかもしれません。
