南仏キルト ブティ 1900

布の彫刻と言われる美しいキルト、ブティ。
ブティは2枚の布を重ね、ステッチで模様を描いた後、その間に綿を詰めて模様を浮き立たせ美しい陰影を作ります。

南フランスの眩しい太陽の下で乾かされた洗いざらしのブティは綿が詰められた部分がふっくらと浮き上がり、モチーフがより一層美しく引き立ちます。

シンプルながらも細やかな模様と、四隅にはおおらかに編まれたレース。
贅沢な手仕事のバランスに遊び心を感じる一枚。

素材; コットン

サイズ; 112 × 137cm ほど

コンディション; 経年による薄らとした色褪せ等がみられますが、時代を考慮してもとても良い状態だと思います。角レースの糸のほつれが見られる箇所があります。
古い品の為、小さな痛みや汚れなどはあるかもしれません。
