France provance perfume bottle 18～19世紀頃
すらりと細長い古手の小さなパフュームボトル (香水瓶)です。
昔の暮らしを垣間見ることのできる道具
この時代の手吹きの製法ならではの独特な揺らぎも美しいです。
フランス語で "topette" (トペット) とも呼ばれ、
精製した香水を保存する際に使われていました。
旅の途中で立ち寄った南仏のミュゼには
この小瓶と同じものが展示されていました。(参考写真)
実際に芳香蒸留水を入れ、香水を作る時の道具としてお使い頂いたり
一輪挿しとしても程よい大きさ
また、金平糖などの小粒の菓子を入れる茶道の振り出しとしてなど
様々にお使い頂けます。
どの器にも経年によるガラスの曇りやキズは多少見られますが
良い景色となり暮らしに寄り添ってくれると思います。
〈ガラスのお手入れについて〉
ガラスは、使用していくうちに水道水に含まれるカルキなどの成分が沈着し白く曇ります。
曇りが気になり始めたらボトルにお酢を入れて一晩ほどつけ置きをしてください。カルキが中和され、ある程度曇りが取れてゆきます。
その後、水で洗い、よく乾かしてください。
古物の曇りの原因は様々の為、個体によっては完全に取り切れないものもありますのでご了承ください。お手入れの一つとして参考になれば幸いです。
全てのボトルは、こちらで一度、酢を使い手入れをしております。

コンディション; グラスの所々にある多少の小さな気泡はこの時代の製法ならではのものです。経年による古い細かなキズやガラスのくもり等はどの器も見られますが、時代を考慮してもとても良い状態だと思います。
A 気泡や曇りは比較的少ない個体です。
B キズ、気泡、曇りは少ない個体です。ボトルの底の縁に小さな欠けがひとつ見られます。
C 気泡や曇りは比較的少ない個体です。
D 気泡、曇りが少ない個体です。注ぎ口に製造時に付いた跡が見られ個性的です。
E 気泡、曇りが見られます。光に翳すと美しく虹色に輝きます。
F 器の全体に気泡や曇りが見られます。
G 気泡や曇り、表面にキズが見られます。キズから水が漏れることはありません。

B few air bubbles and glass smudges. There is a small chip on the bottom rim of the bottle.

E A few air bubbles and glass smudges. When held up to the light, it shines in rainbow colours and is beautiful.
F There are a few bubbles and glass smudges throughout the individual.
G Bubbles, dimples or scratches on the surface. No water leaks from scratches.
Good condition. Some manufacturing irregularities (color variations, spots under the glaze, chip) as to be expected for manufacturing processes of the time. Please check by looking at the photo.
Please understand that this is an old item and all items have minor scratches and coloration.
